Industry sources told Energy Intelligence that a combined 2.3 million b/d of oil capacity was planned to be brought back within a day -- 2 million b/d from the crucial 7 million b/d Abqaiq processing facilities on Monday and 300,000 b/d from the giant Khurais onshore oil field, the country's second-biggest, on Sunday. It is still unclear by when the entire capacity can be restored, but to compensate for the outages, Aramco is also planning to boost production from its offshore fields.
